24 January 2020 08:30Citykonferensen/ Ingenjörshuset

The European Commission in Sweden organizes this seminar.

How much is the EU worth paying for? What is the European added-value? How much are Member States willing to pay for participating in the single market, jointly fighting climate change, taking part of research funding and protecting the external borders?

These issues are right now being discussed and intensely negotiated between Member States in the multiannual financial framework (MFF) for 2021-2027. Johannes Hahn, European Commissioner in charge of the EU budget, will present the Commission’s view on the budget and give us the latest from the on-going discussions. Several stakeholders will give their views on the EU budget, its importance and potential added-value for different policy areas in Sweden.

Join us for an “EU-Budget Breakfast” seminar in Citykonferensen/Ingenjörshuset on 24 January at 8.30-9.30

The seminar will be held in English and it will also be web streamed here: https://www.facebook.com/EUkommissionen
